Born in London October 11th 1955, Wendy Veryard has been writing stories since she was seven years old.
Starting with animal stories until her teens
Wendy went on to write the unpublished epic
'The Eagle and the Rose'
a romance spanning three generations.
From then on she toyed with odd stories, many incomplete,
as she conversed over ten years
with her farmer pen friend Richard Tunnard,
who became her husband in June 1983.
Now a farmer's wife with three children,
five dogs seven 'home' cats and around thirty farm cats,
Wendy still manages to find time to write and
paint scenery with oils on canvas.

In 1996 Wendy watched the re-runs of the
US television series Beauty and the Beast
and contacted Gwen Lord the then President
of The Helper's Network UK Beauty and the Beast fanclub.
Here she spent the next decade writing fanfiction stories
mixing with other fans of the series
and meeting some of the actors and directors of the show.

In March 2004 Wendy recieved an email
from a US actor asking to turn one of her
Beauty and the Beast stories into a feature length film.
And after signing an agreement with him,
Wendy went on to modify the story
to extract all mention of Beauty and the Beast
with the help of three very good friends
Goldie Jones - editor
Nancy Richardson - proofreader
and Dawn Yzaguirre - Proofreader
Between the four, they ensured that all aspects
and mannerisms of Beauty and the Beast characters
and scenes were extracted from the revised edition of
Star Spangled Night Mare
so that the script could be developed.

As a promise to her grandmother - Dinah -
Wendy reinstated the ancestral name of de-Veryard
to all her writings within Beauty and the Beast fandom
as well as to the published Star Dappled Night Mare
the book of the film to be.

In January 2006 and following the death
of her precognative father, in May 2005,
Wendy's life began to alter as through a chat room
she met someone that could only be described as a soul mate.
This was all very new and strange to Wendy
who as then as one of Jehovah's Witnesses
was unable to believe in such things.
Still, with an open mind, Wendy began to research the possibility
and accepted that, 'yes, she did have a psychic connection
with this man'. They knew one another's feelings
emotions and had shared many
similarities throughtout their seperate lives.
Together they set about researching the phenomena of spirituality,
he looking in one direction and she in another.
Wendy's searching brought her to the word 'CHAKRA'
that in turn led to her purchasing
Doreen Virtue's book Chakra Cleansing.
From here her avid interest was enriched
and Wendy started to purchase as many books
on various subjects as possible,
soaking up information like a sponge.

Keeping an open mind, Wendy did not totally believe in everything
until she began to realise that her long standing ability
to heal with her hands was becoming enhanced.
Not only this, but by calling upon the help of
Archangel Raphael she was able to distant heal
with the power of her mind.

So many things started to happen, so quickly
and in all fairness to others of her faith as a JW
Wendy decided to disassociate from Jehovah's Witnesses
and follow her new found path of spirituality.

One of the most enlightening things
Wendy discovered along the way,
is that we are not humans with a spirit inside us,
we are in fact spirits within a human host.
Many are otherwise known as Light-Workers.
This made sense to Wendy, and she accepted
that in life a person can have many soul mates
and these are here to guide back to the path those lightworkers
that deviate from their journey mapped out before they were born.

With the help of a friend and astologer Deborah Pickstone,
Wendy discovered that her husband
as well as her new found friend
were both soul mates,
her natal chart revealing this as so.

A natural progression began to take shape
Wendy began experimenting with crystals
and became a Reiki practitioner
thus strengthening and enhancing her ability to heal.
However, before this, and after obtaining
faith in Doreen Virtue's oracle cards
Wendy began to notice when her Spirit Guide
and her own Guardian Angel were close
and loved what she felt.
She associates it to a light fizzing down her left side
as though a cool breeze has lightly touched her skin.
When she is to draw an Oracle card,
the middle finger of her left hand tingles
when the appropriate card in the pack is reached.
She has found that the messages on the cards
are always timely and beneficial to her.

Early one morning Wendy decided to try to connect
with her angels by automatic writing.
Thus armed with pen and paper she sat and waited
and deep within began to discern a voice
that she deemed was not her own and she began to write...
The paragraph was short and told her not to be afraid
and to go to her computer and
write the words they would tell her.
This was far easier than writing by hand
and from then on Wendy found it more effective
to get up an hour before the rest
of the household when the day was quiet and she
could more easiliy hear her angels speak.
Then one evening after drawing the card 'Oceana'
from the pack Messages from your Angels
Wendy began to think on writing a non-fiction book
and on her way to bed, the word Float popped into her mind.
Wendy felt sure this was to be the title
and a few days later mentioning it to
Angela Cannon (specialising in The Bowen Tecknique)
Angela told her that knowing angels
each letter of the title probably stood for something.
Hearing this Wendy agreed, and heard herself reeling off the words...

Faith
Love
Obedience
And
Trust

Not Obedience, Angela told her, try Optimism
and thereby, Float was borne.

And the result?
By listening to her angels Wendy has written a book
that has astounded her.
Filled with chapters of angel messages
Float is about spirit, energy, auras
and also how positive and negative thinking affects the earth.
The book also tells of Wendy's own spiritual journey
including an Out of Body experience she had when she was 17.

This website has been developed as a place
where Wendy can write a journal
of her spiritual journey from now onward
in order to share with like minded persons
the messages received from her own angels
hoping that when the book 'Float' was complete it would be published. However, she eventually decided to upload it online so it could be read freely by all interested persons.
